And a feminist. That's important.

Sacramento! But Alexis is actually a double citizen of the United States and Portugal. She has family all over the world (including South Africa and New Zealand). She is currently surviving in Los Angeles.
As a reader, she adores fiction. Some of her favorite authors include Jane Austen, Mary Shelley, Maya Angelou, Russell Edson, and William Shakespeare (of whose work she wrote about in her upcoming publication).
As a writer, Alexis writes most in creative genres (especially prose poetry). She is particularly fond of the odd and irreverent and often finds her stories turning toward unexpected whims, creatures, and endings.
Alexis adores comedy, science-fiction, late night flights, Regency ballgowns, and film. One of her biggest dreams is to become an astronaut-novelist. If you have any jobs that require someone writing novels on the moon or Mars, this is your girl.
